We had the pleasure of looking after Gruff Rhys when his European tour rolled into Swansea. Playing at the historic Brangwyn Hall, this concert was part of Gruff’s intimate European tour after playing Germany, Belgium and Denmark, amongst many others along the way. Being an intimate seated gig, we had to ensure that the sound quality reached every member of the audience without blasting away the first few rows. Total Sound Solutions applied a combination of NEXO M10, PS15’s, LS18’s as well as infils and delay speakers throughout the venue, to ensure an equality of sound throughout, all through our Soundcraft V1200 and Yamaha CL5 desks. For lighting, we used a combination of Showtec infinity’s and 1915 Pixels to create the right atmosphere throughout the night. We also looked after both support acts, Sweet Baboo and Adwaith who complimented the night perfectly.
