THE EVENT

The Vintage Car & Family Fun Day in Singleton park has been an established Event for over 25yrs in Swansea.  Over the last new years the event has gone from strength to strength adding a Live Stage with Performers from TV’s X-Factor & Britain’s Got Talent, along with a local talent.

Total Sound has been involved with the event since 2007 when the event was attracting 10,000 people and a small stage in the corner of the field.  The event attracts more than 25,000 people and has a family feel with live entertainment throughout the day.

The organisers wanted to make a dedicated Live area of the field where families could sit and enjoy live music.

This was the very first outing for our new 8x6m Outdoor Stage.

The stage has been added due to demand from customers wanting a simple yet basic stage for local events.  Using our Nexo GeoS12 system with LS18 Subs we plotted the angles of the ground stacked array and was getting 92db at 75m (edge of the live area).

Using only 2 Nexo NXAMP4x4 Amplifiers we bridged 1x Amp for the subs and used the other amp to run the tops.  The system performed perfectly as expected.

The Artitst have included Shelly-Anne (The Voice), Who’s Molly & X-Factor’s Stereo Kicks to name a few
